Andréa Juarez, M.A. is an author, speaker and life coach in the field of self-development and personal transformation. She is a graduate of the Executive Leadership programs at Harvard University, the Center for Creative Leadership in Colorado and the National Hispana Leadership Institute in Washington, D.C.

Andréa’s path in life took a sharp turn at the age of eight, taking her on an eight year journey of humiliation, torture and sexual assault. After a public trial, she was placed in foster care. She didn’t know at the time that the dysfunctional environment she grew up in had poisoned her beliefs, thoughts and perspective about herself, and the world around her.

Though she left the abusive environment behind, she kept the imprisoned state of mind. As a young adult, she was overcome with hatred, anger and grief. She struggled with depression, low self-esteem, co-dependency and suicidal thoughts. This led to drug abuse and getting kicked out of college.

In a moment of deep despair, she decided to end her life. Shortly before doing so, she experienced something that can only be described as a spiritual awakening. This awakening illuminated the hidden truth that eluded her until that point; she had been living life as a prisoner and the prison was around her mind.

With this new awareness she broke free. She transformed her mind and this in turn transformed her life. This change rooted her thoughts, beliefs and perspective in love, forgiveness and compassion which led to healing, self-realization, peace and happiness. She went back to college, earned a masters degree and became an activist. She's held a variety of leadership positions before starting her life's work in 2009.

She found the path out of suffering through the transformation of her mind
and has dedicated her life to helping others do the same.
